PRESIDENT/FOUNDER of Tapestry International; Oversees the strategic planning, development, production, and marketing of the company. Nancy Walzog is an Academy Award® and Emmy® Award-winning producer and has 22 years of experience in the television industry. She holds an MBA in Management and Finance from Pace University and a BFA in Film and Television Production from NYU.

Karen Carlson

Karen Carlson

VICE PRESIDENT of Tapestry International, Carlson manages Tapestry’s international distribution department as well as the day-to-day operations of the company. Carlson’s previous positions at Tapestry have included Director of Sales & Marketing & Contract Administrator. Ms. Carlson was formerly employed at the Russian Academy of Sciences Publishing House in Moscow and holds a BS in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University.

Jean Meltzer

Jean Meltzer

CREATIVE DIRECTOR/PRODUCER Ms. Meltzer is an Emmy®-winning producer and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (Department of Dramatic Writing). As chief programmer of content for Assignment Discovery, she finely tunes each episode. Meltzer’s writing has earned her the Young Playwrights Award, the Vernable Herndon Award in Screenwriting, and the NJ Governor’s Award for the Arts.

Laura Ibanez

Laura Ibanez

DIRECTOR OF SALES & ACQUISITIONS Quadra-lingual, world traveler Laura Ibanez heads up Tapestry’s international sales department. Ibanez was formerly employed in the P/R department of General Motor’s Caracas offices. Ms. Ibanez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) and a Masters in Marketing from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Melanie Pal

Melanie Pal

WRITING TEAM. Melanie comes to Tapestry from Sesame Workshop, where she had a hand in everything from live studio productions to a number of animated series for preschoolers including the Emmy® Award-winning Dragon Tales and Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat. She spent three years with Sesame Workshop’s International Project Management Team where she worked on the South African, Egyptian, and Afghani versions of Sesame Street. Melanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Masters in Literacy and Writing for Children from NYU’s Gallatin School.

Kevin Camoosa

Kevin Camoosa

EDITOR & DVD PRODUCER. Kevin has enjoyed a successful career as an editor for over ten years in New York City. He holds a Master Certificate from Future Media Concepts in Avid®, non-linear editing. Previous clients include PBS’s P.O.V. strand, Nightline (NBC), IBM, Air France and Giorgio Armani. Kevin holds a BS in Marketing and a minor in Advertising from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Steve Drake

PRODUCER Prior to joining Tapestry in early 2003, Steve worked in London on a number of television and radio programs, including the BBC series, The Kit, the BBC World Service youth radio series, The Edge, and the award-winning BBC science documentary series, Horizon. Originally from California, Steve has experience in writing, producing, directing, field producing, and working as a one-man-band. Steve has worked with London’s Panico film production workshop and received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Global Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of California at Irvine.

Jason Stant

Jason Stant

PRODUCTION MANAGER A graduate of Towson University, Jason Stant brings many years of experience to Tapestry International from dramatic television series, to numerous feature films and commercials, as well as training videos for the U.S. government. Having worked as production manager, auditor and location scout, his past credits include: The Sopranos, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Unsolved Mysteries, and Spider-Man 2.
