Producing a daily show for a major cable net is an exhilarating (not to mention exhausting) challenge. Tapestry is now entering its third year of production on Assignment Discovery, a kids magazine program for The Discovery Channel. Assignment Discovery brings the best of the Discovery networks (from dinos to dogs, DNA to DIY) straight to kids, utilizing hip music and graphics and a kid-on-the-street perspective.
Commissioned by Discovery Health, Tapestry is currently executive producing Critical Hour together with the University of Maryland School of Medicine & Video Press. This hit series takes us inside one of the country’s most adrenaline-soaked shock trauma emergency rooms, revealing the delicate line between life and death.
Tapestry is pleased to be producing a new season of TLC Elementary for TLC. Set to commence airing in fall of ‘05, TLC Elementary will target the 5-10 demo. This series will utilize an innovative story-telling technique to teach kids the fundamentals of reading and writing.
